This is the Fourth impression of the First edition of this interesting little book. A small book but a significant one. Paul Gallico was also the bestselling author of 'The Snow Goose' and 'Mrs. Arris Goes to Paris' among many other literary works. The book is dedicated to its subject Baroness Ludmila von Falz-Fein. It is Inscribed by her father, the Baron Von Falz-Fein, on the dedication page. No dustjacket is present. Contains beautiful illustrations. Another heart-warming story from Paul Gallico and a significant association copy. View More...
This is a Trade paperback edition of the international bestseller 'Snow Falling on Cedars'. It is a first-thus edition and it is inscribed by the author. The inscription is written directly on the half-title page and it reads 'To Ruth-' and then it is signed by the author. The book is in excellent condition but for a small crease to the bottom left of the rear wrap and some very slight toning to the text block. This Novel was the winner of the 1996 American Booksellers Book of the Year. It also won the 1995 PEN/Faulkner award and the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Award.. It is a my... The wraps are tight and the pages are very clean. All corners are square. Thomas Harris has signed this book directly on the title page. This was the novel that Mr. Harris wrote before Red Dragon, which was the first Hannibal Lecter book. A signed copy of the First edition of this book is quite... View More...
This first Vintage books Trade paperback edition was published in 1994. On the blank page directly opposite of the title page there is a 2" by 4" card that is very neatly attached and reads "To Camille - Helen Prejean". The book is in excellent condition and does not appear to have been handled very much. No tears, no writing except by the author and no banged corners. There are, however a couple of bent corners in the center of the text. They realy do not detract. In 1982 Sister Helen Prejean became the spiritual advisor to the convicted killer of two teenagers who was sentenced to die in the... View More...
