This unusual book was limited to 5000 copies printed and this is number 3595. The volume is in Good + to Very Good minus condition and shows wear to the boards as well as the extremities. The spine is very faded but can still be read. This is a scarce book. The title page of the book mentions that it is 'intended for 'Circulation among Mature Educated Persons only'. It is truly a strange book with a very complete table of contents and a very wide variety of subjects. Published in 1933 it reflects the attitudes of that time. There is a dedication page to Havelock Ellis 'considered the modern world's most civilized man' and a quote from him that reads 'I regard sex as the central problem of life'. The book is amusing to say the least. The textblock is very clean and the volume is holding together well. There is a touch of toning to the pages from age but it is very light. For the collector of the quaint and different!
