This is a beautiful book that is quarto in size and it was written and illustrated by Will Moses who is the Great Grandson of world famous folk artist, Grandma Moses. This book is signed directly on the half-title page by Will Moses. The book is brand new and has never been read. All of the illustrations are in color and the folk art here is breathtaking. Rip Van Winkle was that curious fellow who, with his dog Wolf, ran away from a hard day's work to the Catskill Mountains in New York. There he discovered a forgotten valley and a band of revelers who gave him a drink that was so powerful he slept for twenty years. His tale still haunts the Hudson River Valley. This is the retelling and re-creation of this classic story. The illustrations of Will Moses bring this American hero to life. A Fine book and a wonderful story.Fine copy in Fine dustjacket. Illustrated by Will Moses, the great grandson of Folk artist Grandma Moses. A wonderful tale and presentation for young people of all ages. We are pleased to send pictures on request.
