Many book lovers and book collectors have been delighted with Jasper Fforde's series of novels that star the incredible Literary Detective "Thursday Next". Although each book stands alone as an individual story, each novel also connects to the larger story of the Adventures of Thursday Next. The series began with the international bestseller The Eyre Affair, and then continued with Lost in a Good Book, The Well of Lost Plots, Something Rotten, and The Big Over Easy. All of these novels are essentially Bibliomysteries with a good measure of fantasy thrown in. They are wonderful books and will be loved by anyone who loves good books and a good story. This is the first edition and first printing of this title. It was published in the United Kingdom in 2003 and this copy is in fine condition but for a crease to the lower part of the dustjacket on the front panel. The book is not price-clipped and apart from this crease, it is in as new condition. It is signed by Jasper Fforde directly on the title page. The Well of Lost Plots is the place where all fiction is created and in this story Thursday Next finds herself hiding out there. The literary detective ponders her next move from the inside of an unpublished novel of dubious merit. She is being followed by Chronoguard in the real world. This is a really enjoyable book and a scarce offering, signed by the author and in the first edition and printing. We are pleased to send pictures on request.
