Here is a Very Fine First Limited edition that was published in 1970 in an edition of 1950 copies of which this is number 1526. The book as well as its slipcase are in Very Fine condition. It is printed on rich cream-colored paper and is a true classic of the history of printing in the American Colonies. Published by the Imprint Society the book still has information regarding their other publications laid in. Bound into the book is an original page from the First edition of 1810. This volume is one of the most important references we have on this subject and it is also wonderful to read. The book is fully indexed and runs to 650 pages not including the Limitation page which is numbered and signed by the editor. This is a volume that almost always provokes interest among collectors. I have given you a picture of the Table of Contents page so that you can see how the book is organized. Anyone interested in early American history will truly enjoy this book. We are pleased to send pictures on request.
