Author Name Moffat Title Space Below My Feet Binding Cloth Book Condition Near Fine Jacket Condition Near Fine Edition First Edition Size 8vo Publisher New York Houghton Mifflin Company 1961 Seller ID 001517 This is a most interesting volume. The book is in near-fine condition with very minimal shelfwear and an inscription on the front endpaper. It also shows some soiling to the outer edge of the back cover. Otherwise the book is in remarkable condition and was published in 1961. When I took the dustjacket off this book I was delighted to see the beautiful design on the binding. I have never seen a book quite like this before. This is the story of a young British woman's search for freedom and the unexpected way in which she found it. It is an adventure and exploration story that unfolds as Ms. Moffat travels the world. From being an army truckdriver to driving a traveling store on the lonely roads of the Scottish Highlands she tells a story of great human importance. Basically the autobiography of a woman mountaineer Gwen Moffat has written a book that is both informative and thrilling. We are happy to send pictures on request.
