Here is another wonderful novel from the most acclaimed mystery writer of the 1990's. Walter Mosley's work has been recognized as a welcome and permanent addition to American Crime writing. A Little Yellow Dog, published in 1996 was an instant classic of suspense. Mosley's writing style and shrewd social observation have made his books international bestsellers. This book is in Fine condition and it has never been read. It is signed by the author directly on the title page. It is not price-clipped and it makes a fine presentation. The setting of the novel is 1963. "Easy Rawlins" has given up the street life that has brought him so much trouble and grief. He is now a supervising custodian of a junior high school in Watts. Easy comes in early one morning and finds one of the teachers already in her classroom. She has a dog with her and a story about a husband that has gone mad. Before the day is over the teacher is gone and "Easy" has her dog and the handsomest corpse he has ever seen is found in the school Garden. That night a second corpse shows up!
