It is in Very Fine condition and had never been read. It is as tight and as clean as the day it was published in 1979. It is bound in Beautiful brown leather with raised hubs on the spine and ornate gilt decoration on the spine and boards. The endpapers are of a satin moiré and it is one of the Deluxe Franklin Limited Editions that has the tissue guard covering and protecting Mr. Caldwell's signature. The volume also has a bound-in satin bookmark. It contains a special introduction to this Edition written by Erskine Caldwell, which appears in no other edition of this title. Erskine Caldwell has said that God's Little Acre is as contemporary as Mankind. This is because the characters are timeless in their thoughts and actions and the interwoven rural and urban scenes ''provoke and perpetuate'' ageless conflicts in the Human Family.
