Patterson, James Murder of King Tut, The New York Little Brown Company 2003 First Edition Cloth As New As New Signed by Author This book has a foil dustjacket that does not scan well and the apparent uneveness of the jacket is not present on the actual book. I had to lighten the scan so that you could see the book properly. The front panel is very fine and just beautiful. This is a First Edition and First Printing and it is signed by Mr. Patterson directly on the title page. When the tomb of King Tut was discovered in 1922 most experts in the field of Egyptology decided that the very young king had died of a disease or accident. Now that more study has been done there appear to be some very important data suggesting that the young king was actually murdered. This copy of 'The Murder of King Tut' essentially follows the investigations that attempted to find out exactly what happened to him. All the evidence is checked out including forensic examination, x-rays of the mummy etc. in order to put together a coherent story of the death of King Tut. This book is in Very fine condition as is it's dustjacket. The dustjacket is not price-clipped and the book is beautiful. We find here that King Tut's death was probably not a natural one in any way.
