3 Leonard, Elmore Freaky Deaky
New York Arbor House 1988 First Edition Proof Wraps Fine No Jacket
This is a beautiful Proof copy of Elmore Leonard's 'Freaky Deaky'. The book is in Fine condition and has clearly never been read. It is bound in orange wraps (large trade paperback) and the wraps are virtually pristine but for the marker writing on the front panel. It is very common for proofs to be marked by the publisher or author in the process of getting the first edition printed. Proofs are printed in very small quantities and serve the purpose of allowing the author and the publisher to make any needed corrections before the first edition is printed. Proofs are much more scarce than first editions. There are no creases to the spine panel of the proof and there are no turned corners. The textblock is absolutely clean and the book has 339 pages. Elmore Leonard is also the author of many other bestselling crime novels such as 'Get Shorty', 'Glitz', and 'Bandits'. He is a Hollywood insider because of his extensive work with screenplays and the adaptation of his novels to the film format. George Will has said "O.K. Here's what you do. Stand in the bookstore and read the first chapter of 'Freaky Deaky'. Won't take long. Only ten pages. The store owner won't mind because he knows you will then buy the book". Elmore Leonard's novels are of crime and humor and feature Plots that simply cannot be resisted. They are highly enjoyable and Leonard himself is known for his incredible skill at writing dialogue. There is no one like him. This book is fun and funny and will take you on a very enjoyable escapade. A true collector’s item. We are pleased to send pictures on request.

6 Leonard, Elmore Swag
New York Delacorte Press 1976 First Edition Cloth Near Fine Very Good
Here we have one of the early novels of Elmore Leonard. Published in 1976 this is an item that is becoming somewhat scarce. The book itself is in at least Very Good Plus condition and would be Fine but for a bump to the top left corner of the front cover which is fairly difficult to see, and a very, very tiny lean. The volume shows very slight shelf wear. It is very clean and tight. The dust jacket is very good and it is not price-clipped. It has a closed tear on the back panel and some light creasing. All of the paper is present. Take a couple of well-meaning guys in Detroit, give them guns and a foolproof set of rules for success in armed robbery and you end up with a clever, tough, suspense caper worthy of the talents of the amazing Elmore Leonard. We are happy to send pictures on request.

7 Leonard, Elmore Tishomingo Blues - Signed LTD
New York William Morrow and Company Inc 2002 First Edition Limited Cloth Fine Fine Signed by Author
We have lost a great writer in Elmore Leonard. Here is a Fine offering from the author of Get Shorty and Bandits, Elmore Leonard. This copy is as new with no flaws to detract. It is a Limited Signed edition and has been specially bound and produced by the publisher. Mr. Leonard has signed this book on the Limitation page. Dennis Lenahan, the high diver, would tell people that if you put a fifty-cent piece on the floor and looked down at it, that's what the tank looked like from the top of that eighty-foot steel ladder. Dennis is a daredevil and the girls love him. Things have been going okay for him until the day that he looks down from the high-dive platform and witnesses a mob hit-Dixie style. This is another taut thriller from Elmore Leonard. Leonard is a true master of dialog and his skills are as sharp as they ever were. This is a beautiful signed Limited copy of this best-selling title. We are pleased to send pictures on request.
