Ellison, Harlan Approaching Oblivion New York Walker 1974 First Edition Cloth Fine Fine Signed by Author Harlan Ellison is probably the most honored and the most controversial writer in the field of imaginative literature. He is at his peak in the eleven previously uncollected stories in this wonderful 1974 book. Ellison pulls back the veil that separates us from our possible futures. These are stories of odd delusions, wry fantasms and terrifying glimpses of where we are going. Some sound a warning about the catastophic consequences of our tinkering with a Universe that up until now at least, has permitted us to survive on this relatively infinitesimal dust-mote we call a planet. This book is in Fine condition and it is signed directly on the title page by Harlan Ellison. It is also dated by him. Beautifully printed and produced the volume also contains a full list of Ellison's work up until 1974. All of the corners of the book are square and the dust-jacket is not price-clipped. The book looks brand-new and it could have been published yesterday. For yourself or for a gift, this volume is certain to please. We are pleased to send pictures on request. Price:

Ellison, Harlan Spider Kiss New York Armchair Detective Library 1990 1st Thus Cloth Fine Fine Signed by Author Harlan Ellison is an amazingly prolific writer in both the science fiction and the mystery and suspense genres. This volume is in Fine condition and it is signed by Mr. Ellison directly on the title page. Spider Kiss is a tough-minded suspense novel about the early days of rock'n'roll and this novel has endured. It was originally published in paperback in 1961 and since then the novel has become something of a cult icon. The story has been flippantly called a 'Horatio Alger from Hell' tale where the 'poor boy from the country makes good in the city' story is reversed and coated with the pervasive corruption of the music industry. The point seems to be that Talent can corrupt and absolute talent can corrupt absolutely. A Fine signed edition. We are pleased to send pictures on request. Price:
